Vouchers and Promo Codes

Voucher numbers are received by third parties such as LivingSocial, Groupon and other participating social media groups. The Murder Mystery Company does honor expired vouchers. Voucher numbers are not promo codes and are not interchangeable. Promo codes are generated by The Murder Mystery Company and are eligible for redemption only within their period of eligibility. Tickets purchased using a combination of two or more promo codes will be voided and refunded.

The Murder Mystery Company will not refund the difference between regular price tickets and vouchers. Voucher numbers must be provided at the time of purchase. Third-party vouchers are only available for General Admission tickets. The Murder Mystery Company will not refund vouchers purchased from any third-party site — refunds will need to be handled by the company they were purchased from. Currency, Pricing and Availability

All tickets are sold in US dollars without tax or surcharge. Seating is determined by a first come, first serve basis.

If you are arriving with a group and wish to be seated together, all members of the party should arrive together. Accommodations will be made whenever possible but are not guaranteed. Seating for people bearing vouchers is limited to General Admission tickets. For availability concerning limited seating, please call (888) 659-2952.

We do not issue refunds after reservations are made because of scheduling conflicts, seating limitations or inclement weather. Your tickets may be transferred into another date free of charge anytime.

Canceled and Rescheduled Events

Rarely, shows by The Murder Mystery Company are canceled, postponed or rescheduled. In this event, the purchaser will receive an email and follow-up calls to reschedule. The Murder Mystery Company does not cancel an event due to inclement weather conditions, with the exception of declared emergencies.

Service Fees and Processing Fees

Reservations made online may be subject to service or processing fees in accordance with state and local regulations. Tickets purchased over the phone will exclude all processing fees.

Refunds, Re-Booking and Exchanges

Before purchasing tickets, carefully review your event selection. If you purchase incorrectly for a certain date, it may be moved to a different date within 24 hours for no additional charge. We may occasionally offer tickets at a discount after the original on-sale date and will not refund the difference between the original price and the sale price. There are no refunds, returns or exchanges.

As a courtesy, all tickets and reservations may be transferred to another person free of charge but must be redeemed on the date originally scheduled. Once a date is scheduled for a show, it may not be rescheduled. Tickets are non-refundable.

If we issue a refund for a ticket due to a canceled or postponed event, we will issue a refund of the ticket's face value paid (or, for a discounted ticket, the discounted ticket price paid) and all service fees.

Pricing and Other Errors

If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect — regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this site or otherwise communicated to you, or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale date, or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale — then we will have the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount that you paid. This provision will apply regardless of whether the error was caused by human error or a transactional malfunction of this website.

License; Ejection and Cancellation; No Redemption Value

Venues reserve the right, without refund of any amount paid, to refuse admission to, or eject, any person whose conduct management deems disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language, or who fails to comply with venue rules. Breach of terms or rules will terminate your license to attend the event without refund. A ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the ticket's face amount. A ticket is not redeemable for cash.

Recording, Transmission and Exchange

You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event.

You grant permission to us and the event provider(s) to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements and statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after play or performance) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.
